Member Guide
Welcome to the Wyndemere Leadership Committee Pool! This guide will walk you through the process of signing up, creating your profile, and what to expect along the way.
What Is the Leadership Committee Pool?
The Leadership Committee Pool is a group of Wyndemere members who have expressed interest in serving on one or more of the community's committees. By creating a profile on the Leadership Committee website, you make yourself available for consideration when committee positions open up.
Step 1: Register on the Website
To get started, visit the Leadership Committee website at www.wyndemerelc.com.
From the home page, click Register and fill out the registration form:
- First Name and Last Name
- Wyndemere Member Number
- Email Address — This will be your login and how the committee contacts you
- Password — Choose a secure password (must include uppercase, lowercase, a number, and a special character)
Once you've filled everything in, click Register to create your account.
Step 2: Confirm Your Email
After registering, check your email inbox for a message from alerts@wyndemerelc.com with the subject "Confirm Your Email - Wyndemere Leadership Committee".
Click the confirmation link in the email to verify your email address. This step is required before you can log in.
If you don't see the email, check your spam or junk folder.
Step 3: Log In
Once your email is confirmed, return to the website and click Login. Enter your email and password, then click Log in.
After logging in, you will be taken directly to your profile page.
Step 4: Complete Your Profile
Your profile is how the Leadership Committee gets to know your background, interests, and experience. The more complete your profile, the better the committee can match you with the right opportunities.
From your profile page, click the red Build Profile button to start the profile wizard. The wizard will walk you through each section one step at a time. You can save your progress at any point and come back to finish later.
Profile Sections
Here is what you'll be asked about in each section of the profile:
Contact Details
Your name, email address, and phone number.
Membership Info
Your Wyndemere membership type, how often you are on campus, and when you joined Wyndemere.
Residency
Information about your residency status.
Wyndemere Interest and Experience
Which Wyndemere committees interest you, any prior committee service you've had at Wyndemere, other Wyndemere involvement, and any director-level service at Wyndemere.
Non-Wyndemere Experience
Any director or board experience you have outside of Wyndemere, including for-profit board service.
Expertise and Skills
Your areas of professional expertise, educational background, occupation and skills, and any professional credentials or licenses you hold.
Uploaded Files
You can upload supporting documents such as a resume.
Editing Your Profile Later
You don't have to complete everything in one sitting. You can return to the website at any time, log in, and update any section of your profile.
From your profile page, click the pencil icon next to any section to edit just that section. Or click Build Profile again to walk through the full wizard.
What Happens Next?
Once your profile is submitted, members of the Leadership Committee will review it. A committee member may reach out to you to schedule a conversation about your interests and background.
You will receive a welcome email when you first log in, confirming your registration and providing a link back to the website.
Managing Your Account
Changing Your Password
If you need to change your password, you can do so from the account management area after logging in.
Forgot Your Password?
If you forget your password, click Forgot your password? on the login page. Enter your email address and you will receive a link to reset your password.
